Peak Medical Ltd has been appointed as the exclusive distributor of Cath Dry sterile dressings in the UK (England, Scotland and Wales)
Cath Dry is an advanced sterile dressing for central venous catheter lines that can significantly reduce the risk of bacterial infection while allowing the patients to carry out their normal daily activities. Cath Dry also has a unique moisture indicating ring meaning you can see at a glance if the seal has been compromised allowing moisture in.
Cath Dry dressing is:
- Sterile
- Water resistant
- Breathable
- Bacteriostatic
- Transparent
- Latex free
- Hypoallergenic
- Simple to apply and remove (removing the need for any other dressings)
Each Cath Dry dressing can last for up to 7 days, depending on treatment regime, allowing unlimited showers without the need to re-apply each time. Up to 20 minutes fully submerged (swimming).
Cath Dry is suitable for Haemodialysis, Peritoneal, PICC, Hickman Lines and Chemotherapy Lines.
